Another great award for the team at PGA Catalunya.

PGA Catalunya Golf Resort was recognised as the European Golf Resort 2015 by the prestigious IAGTO

The award crowns an incredible era during which PGA Catalunya have succeeded in establishing the resort as one of Europe’s finest. Recent recognitions include their status as home to Spain’s No.1 golf course, as awarded by Top100GolfCourses.co.uk for 2012-2015, being voted Best Golf Development in Europe by European Property Awards for 2013-2014, and their listing among the World’s Top 100 Golf Course rankings of Golf World.

The Golf Resort of the Year Award was voted for by IAGTO’s network of 500+ specialist golf tour operators, from across 61 different countries. Each operator was asked to nominate who they considered to be the best performing golf resort in Europe, North America and the rest of the world in the current year, based on the satisfaction ratings of their golf travelling clients.

During the Gala Dinner, IAGTO Chief Executive Peter Walton commented on how gratifying it was to see PGA Catalunya Resort gain recognition from IAGTO’s tour operator members and be voted the 2015 Golf Resort of the Year for Europe. He remarked that the award not only underlined how the resort had progressively advanced to take top spot in Spain in the rankings of revered golf publications and websites, but also recognised the PGA Catalunya Team’s continued investment in cultivating their long-standing relationships with golf tour operators and their clients.
