On Boarding – the Importance of getting it right

On Boarding – the Importance of getting it right

Over the last few months we have been talking a lot about our experience and understanding of On board, as we call our service -Fast Track Assimilation. On Boarding is really, as much a philosophical approach as it is a practical process used by “good” organisations and managers for years. It is about addressing the cultural and political barriers for someone new into a position or organisation can experience. It is what can prevent success in that all-important initial period in their new job. However, it is also much more than that. And that is what we explored during our webinar on the 19th September 2013. We had a great take-up on the invites to attend and had people from our own considerable network as well as a great audience from HR.com (circa 250,000 follower world-wide) who were our sponsors for the event.

If you had a chance to join us, below is a link to our On Boarding presentation (we hope to have a recorded voice over for it soon). If you didn’t get a space in the schedule to join us (I know from those of you who emailed us that there were also as many who didn’t) feel free to down the presentation. If you have any questions or want further information, there are a lot of articles here on the news sector of the PSD Partners site. However, if what you’re looking for, is not there, drop us a line at mailto:info@psdpartners.com

Thanks to all you who joined us on our On Boarding webinar, and if you missed it, perhaps you will be able to catch up with us, next time.
